Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering, delivering compelling demonstrations of our AI-Native DevSecOps platform. You will articulate product positioning to executives, business and technical audiences, and drive technical engagements to validate our security solutions across the SDLC.

You will support SaaS/software sales in DevSecOps or cybersecurity, stay current on AI security trends, and travel as needed for customer engagements and trade shows.

Qualifications

• Deliver product demonstrations showing customer value and reducing security debt.
• Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer in SaaS/DevSecOps or related buying process.
• Hands-on with modern application security practices and tools.
• Understanding of GenAI security risks and cloud-native security.
• Stay updated on AI security and software supply chain threats.
• Able to convey customer requirements to Engineering.
• Willing to travel for customer engagements and events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and runtime protection.
• Evangelize AI-Native DevSecOps benefits including SCA, SAST, DAST, and runtime protection.
• Link security risks to technical solutions across the DevSecOps pipeline.
• Lead technical engagements to prove Harness's value across the SDLC.
