Job summary

Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer, the technical liaison bridging sales and engineering for our AI-Native DevSecOps platform. You will articulate product positioning, provide critical technical support, and drive technology evaluations to secure commercial relationships.

You will deliver platform demos focused on Application Security Testing, runtime protection, and API/AI security. Travel to customer engagements may be required, with a strong emphasis on modern security practices and

Qualifications

Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in the DevSecOps or Cybersecurity domain.
Hands-on experience with modern application security practices and tools (e.g., API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, SCA, or other similar technologies).
Appreciation for cloud-native application security and the security risks associated with GenAI integration.
Remain current on emerging technologies and developments in AI security, software supply chain security, and threat landscapes.

Responsibilities

Deliver product demonstrations showing customer value in eliminating security debt and addressing API/AI risks.
Support SaaS/software sales in the DevSecOps or Cybersecurity domain during the technology evaluation stage.
Conduct workshops and POVs to prove Harness's value across the SDLC from code to operation.
Convey complex customer security requirements to Engineering and guide technical engagements.
