Job summary

Harness is seeking an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering. You will articulate the AI‑Native DevSecOps platform to executives and technical teams, delivering critical technical support and guiding evaluations. Focus on AppSec, API security, and governance within the SDLC.

You will support SaaS sales in DevSecOps, translate customer security needs to engineering, and travel as needed for customer engagements and events.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in DevSecOps or Cybersecurity.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern application security practices and tools.
• Ability to translate security requirements into engineering needs and customer value.

Responsibilities

• Deliver platform presentations and demos focused on AppSec and API security.
• Evangelize the Harness AI-Native DevSecOps platform and its security capabilities.
• Connect security risks to technical solutions in the end-to-end SDLC.
• Lead workshops and POVs to prove security value across the lifecycle.
