Job summary
Harness, the AI Software Delivery Platform company, seeks an AppSec Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering and articulate our AI-Native DevSecOps platform to executive, business, and technical audiences. They will deliver world-class platform presentations and demos focused on Application Security Testing and Runtime Protection as part of the larger DevSecOps landscape.
They will evangelize the platform''s AppSec and API/AI Security capabilities, including SCA, SAST, DAST, and runtime
Qualifications
- Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting SaaS/software sales in the DevSecOps or Cybersecurity domain or as a strong practitioner with experience in the software evaluation and buying process.
- Hands-on with modern application security practices and tools (API Security, AI Security, SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Familiarity with cloud-native app security and GenAI security risks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product demonstrations that show customer value in eliminating security debt for developed software and mitigating API and AI risks.
- Lead workshops and POVs to prove value across the SDLC from code to operation, including API and AI workflows.
- Convey customer security requirements to Engineering and support complex technical engagements.
