Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. seeks a skilled Business Process Analyst to design and implement complex automation bridging Appian and PeopleSoft. You will map processes, write functional specs, and guide developers in creating Appian interfaces that access PeopleSoft data and workflows.

You will work remotely for eligible US states and travel up to 10%. The ideal candidate has Appian expertise, a DoD Secret clearance, and Agile experience to support security-conscious, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Appian 24.x+ experience required.
DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
Strong BPMN and process-improvement knowledge.
Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects.
Ability to write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Conduct requirements-gathering with stakeholders and SMEs.
Analyze and document business processes using BPMN.
Identify automation opportunities using Appian capabilities.
Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with Appian Architects/Developers on workflows, data models, UIs.
Support Agile delivery: backlog refinement, sprint planning, clarifications.
Assist in test case creation and UAT support.
Ensure solutions meet standards and business expectations.
Align processes with PeopleSoft and Appian workflows.
Run workshops to drive clarity for requirements from stakeholders.
Produce process maps, user stories, specs, and technical guides.
