Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to join our IT team and design automation bridging Appian low-code with PeopleSoft ERP. You will map processes, translate requirements into specifications, and guide development for Appian interfaces integrated with PeopleSoft data and workflows.

The role supports remote work for residents in listed states and requires up to 10% travel. Strong BPMN, Agile experience, and DoD clearance are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.
• DoD Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Strong BPMN and process-improvement knowledge.
• Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects.
• Ability to create clear requirements docs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Appian Certified Analyst certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and SMEs.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards.
• Identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities using Appian capabilities.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers to design workflows, data models, and interfaces.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and clarifications.
• Assist in creating test cases and scenarios; support system testing and UAT.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and align with standards.
• Analyze alignment of processes with PeopleSoft modules and Appian workflows.
• Run workshops to drive clarity and consensus for requirements.
• Produce process maps, user stories, and technical guides with governance.
