Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our IT team and design, implement, and automate processes that connect Appian with PeopleSoft ERP.

The analyst will map business processes, translate requirements into functional specs, and guide developers for seamless integration within Appian interfaces. The role requires hands-on Appian experience, BPMN expertise, and strong collaboration with Agile teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Appian experience (versions 24.x or higher).
• Strong BPMN understanding and process improvement background.
• Experience with Appian or other BPM/low-code platforms.
• Ability to create clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards.
• Identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities using Appian.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers on workflows, data models, interfaces.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Assist in creating test cases and support UAT.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and standards.
• Align processes with PeopleSoft Modules and Appian workflows.
• Run workshops to clarify functional and technical requirements.
