Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to join our IT team. You will analyze business needs, map processes, and translate requirements into functional specs to guide development that integrates Appian with PeopleSoft data and workflows.

The role offers fully remote work for residents nationwide, up to 10% travel, and collaboration with Appian Architects and Developers in an Agile environment. A DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Appian 24.x or higher.
• DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Strong BPMN and process-improvement knowledge.
• Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects.
• Ability to create clear requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Certifications: Appian Certified Analyst preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN.
• Identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities using Appian.
• Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers to design workflows and data models.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Assist in creating test cases and support UAT.
• Ensure solutions meet business expectations and standards.
• Analyze alignment with PeopleSoft modules and Appian workflow.
• Run workshops to clarify functional/technical requirements.
• Produce process maps, user stories, and technical guides in repositories.
