Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to join our IT team and design automation solutions that bridge Appian and PeopleSoft ERP. You will analyze business needs, map processes, and translate requirements into functional specs for developers working with Appian interfaces.

The role offers a fully remote position for US residents and travel up to 10%. You will collaborate with Appian Architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Appian experience (v24.x+).
• DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• Strong BPMN and process improvement knowledge.
• Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects.
• Ability to write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Appian Certified Analyst certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and SMEs.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards.
• Identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities using Appian capabilities.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers to design workflows, data models, and interfaces.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and clarification of requirements.
• Assist in creating test cases and scenarios; support system testing and UAT.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and standards.
• Analyze alignment with PeopleSoft Modules and Appian workflows.
• Run workshops to drive clarity and consensus for requirements.
• Produce process maps, user stories, specs and technical guides in repositories.
