Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to join our IT team. You will design and implement process automation bridging Appian and PeopleSoft, analyze business needs, map processes, and translate requirements into functional specs for developers.

The role requires BPMN modeling, strong analytical abilities, and collaboration within Agile teams. Remote work is available for qualified U.S. residents, with up to 10% travel and security clearance considerations.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on Appian experience (v24+).
DoD Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain one.
Strong BPMN and process-improvement knowledge.
Experience in Appian or other BPM/low-code platform projects.
Ability to create clear requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and SMEs.
Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards.
Identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities using Appian.
Translate requirements into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers to design workflows, data models, and UI.
Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and clarification of requirements.
Assist in creating test cases; support system testing and UAT.
Ensure solutions meet business expectations and organizational standards.
Analyze compatibility with PeopleSoft Modules and Appian workflows.
Run workshops to drive clarity and consensus for requirements.
