Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral and mental health technology, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle AP in a remote-first environment. You will handle invoicing, approvals, GL coding in Sage Intacct, and vendor communications, while ensuring compliance and accurate month-end close.

The role requires 3–5 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to optimize processes and collaborate across teams. Remote work is available with national reach.

Qualifications

• Full-cycle AP experience (3–5 years) and a bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP function with accurate GL coding in Sage Intacct.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation with proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Communicate AP questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
• Support month-end close and GL reconciliation.
• Process employee expense reports and corporate card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for procurement tool, including user support and workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency.
