Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle AP, enter invoices in Sage Intacct, and maintain accurate GL coding. You'll reconcile AP-related accounts, process employee expense reports, and support procurement tool workflows in a remote-first, national-role.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in AP, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). We offer comprehensive benefits and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle AP experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of AP principles and general accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP function and enter invoices in Sage Intacct with accurate GL coding.
• Reconcile AP-related GL accounts and assist with month-end close.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate card transactions.
• Support procurement tool: user support and approval workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation as needed.
