Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an A/P Specialist to manage full-cycle accounts payable, with invoicing in Sage Intacct and precise GL coding. You will reconcile AP GLs, support month-end close, and review employee expenses and corporate cards.

The role includes procurement-tool support, enforcing internal controls, and responding to audit requests. Remote-first with national reach, benefits include health, dental, vision, and time off.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle AP experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP function including monitoring the AP inbox and entering invoices in Sage Intacct with accurate GL coding.
• Reconcile AP-related general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close activities.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for our procurement tool, including user support and approval workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation as needed.
