Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Model Risk Advisor to strengthen AI governance and risk management across the enterprise. The role focuses on promoting governance practices, maintaining policies, and enabling effective collaboration with enterprise risk, auditors, and partners.

The successful candidate will inventory and assess AI/ML/GenAI models, monitor controls and KRIs, and support validation activities while delivering executive-level insights into risk and governance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Model risk management, risk and audit.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Ability to communicate technical topics to varied audiences.
• Experience deploying AI model governance and risk programs at scale.
• Understanding of AI governance, ethics, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Promote effective governance practices and maintain AI policies framework.
• Identify gaps and drive improvements in AI governance across the organization.
• Establish inventories of AI/ML/GenAI models with ownership and metadata.
• Monitor model performance, controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
• Support validation activities and communicate findings to teams.
• Engage with internal teams and external partners to maintain governance docs.
• Develop leadership-level reporting and insights on AI governance and risk.
