Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a remote Model Risk Advisor to promote governance practices around AI and GenAI, maintain policies, and drive compliance across the enterprise.

The role includes establishing model inventories, assessing risk, supporting validation, and delivering executive insights. It emphasizes collaboration with risk, audit, and IT teams while navigating evolving regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Model risk management, governance, or audit.
• Bachelor degree as listed, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience deploying AI governance programs in large enterprises.
• Certification in Model Risk Management or similar is a plus.
• Hands-on with data governance tools such as Collibra or similar.

Responsibilities

• Promote effective governance practices for AI and GenAI within the enterprise.
• Establish and maintain inventory of AI/ML models with metadata and risk ratings.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, and business impact.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance; flag issues.
• Support model validation and testing; document findings and recommendations.
• Participate in AI governance audits, reviews, and risk assessments.
• Develop dashboards and executive reporting for AI governance and model risk.
