Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is actively seeking a Model Risk Advisor to promote governance of AI models and align with our AI policies and standards. You will help maintain the model inventory, assess risks, and support governance through audits and analyses.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the enterprise AI community and cross-functional partners. Remote role across the United States with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or related field.
• 4+ years of work in AI model governance, model risk management, or audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly for diverse audiences.
• Experience deploying AI model governance across a large enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Promote AI governance practices and adopt AI policies/frameworks.
• Engage with the AI community to foster awareness and adoption of governance.
• Maintain inventory of models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, and business impact.
• Support validation, testing, and reporting activities to leadership.
• Participate in AI governance oversight, audits, and reviews.
• Develop metrics and executive-level insights on AI governance and risk.
• Collaborate with risk, auditors, and external partners to document governance.
• Monitor regulatory expectations and update governance practices.
