Job summary

Elevance Health seeks an Afterhours Behavioral Health/EAP Consultant I to deliver 24/7 Behavioral Health and EAP services for up to ~10 million lives. Role supports crisis intervention, member access to benefits, and coordination via a shared mailbox.

Requires licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LMHC) and at least 3 years of related experience. Hours are Tuesday–Friday 6pm–2:30am and Saturday 10:30am–7pm EST, with occasional in-person training.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of direct psychiatric and/or substance abuse experience.
• Current unrestricted license such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Professional Counselor in applicable state(s) required.
• MA/MS preferred for advanced qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to initial client contacts and requests for services in the EAP.
• Provide telephone and/or on-site crisis intervention, assessment, and short-term problem resolution.
• Manage Critical Incident Stress Debriefing requests.
• Assist members in accessing behavioral healthcare benefits under their plan.
• Manage shared mailbox for client and vendor communications.
