Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Strategic ACO Contract Manager based in the United States for a remote role. You will lead complex contract negotiations, manage provider relationships, and develop strategies balancing financial performance, outcomes, and affordability.

You’ll oversee the full contract lifecycle from negotiation to renewals, leveraging expertise in ACO arrangements, risk-based contracting, and financial modeling to deliver sustainable agreements that support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least eight years of related work experience beyond the degree, with a strong background in healthcare contracting, provider relations, or health plan operations.
• Demonstrated success negotiating healthcare service and provider contracts, including value-based methodologies and ACO arrangements.
• Strong understanding of provider contracting strategies, risk-based agreements, reimbursement structures, financial models, operational impacts, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and evaluate provider contracts, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and reimbursement guidelines.
• Oversee contracts from initiation to renewal and closure, managing deadlines and obligations.
• Maintain contract language, fee schedules, and reimbursement terms with policy changes.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare providers and senior contracting representatives.
• Address provider concerns and resolve disputes to support long-term partnerships.
• Assess provider and network performance to identify opportunities for cost efficiency and quality improvement.
• Contribute to provider recruitment and network adequacy initiatives.
• Develop and negotiate value-based contracting arrangements to support quality and financial performance.
• Evaluate complex financial arrangements and risk-based contracting structures for viable solutions.
• Work with internal stakeholders to align contracts with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
