Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks an experienced Strategic ACO Contract Manager in the United States. You will lead complex provider negotiations, manage relationships with hospitals and physician groups, and shape contracting strategies balancing financial, quality, and network goals.

The role covers the full lifecycle from negotiation to renewals, amendments, and monitoring, with a focus on risk-based contracts and value-based models. Remote work eligible across approved states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least eight years of healthcare contracting and provider operations experience.
• Strong contract negotiation expertise in health plan operations.
• Solid understanding of risk-based agreements, reimbursement structures, and data analytics.
• Excellent financial acumen and ability to model complex arrangements.
• Legal document interpretation and contract language assessment.
• Proven relationship-building and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage multi-state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and evaluate provider contracts, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and reimbursement guidelines.
• Oversee contracts from initiation through renewal, amendments, and closure.
• Maintain contract language and reimbursement terms with policy changes.
• Address provider concerns and facilitate effective resolutions.
• Assess provider and network performance to identify cost, quality, and service improvements.
• Contribute to provider recruitment and network adequacy initiatives.
• Develop innovative contracting arrangements, including ACO and value-based models.
• Evaluate complex financial arrangements and risk-based contracting structures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure contracts support business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties to support network management and contracting objectives.
