Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Strategic ACO Contract Manager in the United States to lead complex contract negotiations and manage provider relationships, aiming to strengthen networks and value-based agreements.

You will develop strategies balancing financial performance with quality outcomes and affordability, overseeing the full lifecycle from negotiation to renewals and performance monitoring. Remote work is available for eligible states and requires healthcare contracting expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Eight years of related work experience beyond the degree, with a strong background in healthcare contracting, provider relations, or health plan operations.
• Strong understanding of provider contracting strategies, risk-based agreements, reimbursement structures, financial models, operational impacts, and data analytics.
• Legal and contractual understanding: ability to interpret and assess legal documents and complex agreement structures.
• Relationship management: proven ability to build and maintain collaborative external relationships at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Contract Negotiation and Development: Negotiate, draft, and evaluate provider contracts, ensuring alignment with financial objectives, standard templates, and guidelines.
• Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee contracts from initiation through execution, renewal, amendment, and closure.
• Contract Maintenance: Keep contract language, fee schedules, and reimbursement terms current with policy changes.
• Provider Relationship Management: Address provider concerns and disputes, facilitating effective resolutions.
• Network Performance Evaluation: Assess provider and network performance for cost, quality, stability, and service improvements.
• Network Development and Adequacy: Support provider recruitment, network expansion, and adequacy initiatives.
• Develop and negotiate innovative contracting arrangements, including ACO and other value-based models.
• Financial and Strategic Analysis: Evaluate complex financial arrangements and reimbursement methodologies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts meet priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support network management and contracting objectives.
