Job summary

Jobgether seeks a strategic ACO Contract Manager for a remote role based in the United States. You will lead complex contract negotiations with hospitals, physician groups, and other providers, manage the full lifecycle from negotiation to renewals, and shape value-based contracting strategies to balance financial performance and care quality.

You’ll apply financial modeling skills and collaborate across operations and provider partnerships to ensure network adequacy and sustainable agreements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least eight years of related work experience in healthcare contracting, provider relations, or health plan operations.
• Experience negotiating healthcare service and provider contracts, including value-based methodologies and ACO arrangements.
• Strong understanding of provider contracting strategies, risk-based agreements, reimbursement structures, financial models, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and evaluate provider contracts in line with financial objectives and reimbursement guidelines.
• Oversee contracts from initiation through execution, renewal, amendment, and closure.
• Maintain contract language and fee schedules updated with policy changes and evolving reimbursement structures.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and senior contracting representatives.
• Address provider concerns and facilitate effective resolutions for long-term partnerships.
• Evaluate provider and network performance to identify cost, quality, and service improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to provider recruitment and network adequacy initiatives.
• Develop and negotiate value-based contracting arrangements, including ACO models.
• Analyze complex financial arrangements and reimbursement methodologies for viable contracting solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts support business priorities and regulatory requirements.
