Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Accounts payable experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accrual accounting principles and procedures beneficial.
• Experience with Excel and basic accounting software helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable duties with accuracy and timeliness to maintain vendor relations.
• Ensure invoices are approved by proper client personnel.
• Verify cash availability and perform payment selections.
• Void checks, reissue payments, and reverse invoices as necessary.
• Prepare rush payments and allocate to correct GL accounts for multiple entities.
• Maintain vendor files and remit payments per schedules.
• Generate AP aging and weekly check registers for clients.
• Monitor recurring payments and lease payments for timely settlements.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in year-end audit schedules and special projects.
