Qualifications

• Accounts payable experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of financial record-keeping and accrual accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or other similar nonprofit accounting systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper English usage and grammar.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable duties with accuracy and timeliness.
• Verify availability of cash and perform payment selections.
• Code invoices to general ledger accounts and maintain vendor files.
• Generate AP aging reports and send to client as needed.
• Notify clients of vendor discrepancies and ensure follow-ups.
• Resolve inquiries and discrepancies with clients and multiple entities.
