Job summary

ABB is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Manager to drive account strategy, growth, and profitability in the Western region. This remote-role requires you to be based in Greater Houston, TX, coordinating with stakeholders, monitoring projects, and resolving customer issues.

You will lead strategic selling efforts, develop plans, and influence pricing while engaging with executive-level customers to secure long-term partnerships. The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager, Western.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in sales and account management within industrial automation.
• Experience with executive-level discussions around automation projects.
• Proven ability to develop and implement account plans and growth actions.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of the account plan and SOW growth actions.
• Understand key business drivers and risks for the customer’s environment and translate them into impacts for ABB.
• Contribute to sales strategies for the account with current business and long-term plans.
• Define sales targets, monitor market developments, and ensure responsive strategies.
