Job summary
ABB, a leader in automation, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in the US West region. You will drive sales of B&R products and services, identify new prospects, and manage the full funnel from qualification to close. Remote work within Illinois with up to 35% travel in North America and occasional international travel.
A strong engineering background and experience in automation markets are preferred. You will lead commercial activities, including pricing, contract compliance, and offers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field.
- Experience with account management, business development and contract management.
- Experience in customer experience success and pricing excellence.
- Experience with Machine and Motion Control products and familiarity with industrial automation market.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prequalify, and engage new prospects; develop Target Account Business Plans to expand the customer base.
- Qualify and advance opportunities; manage pipeline and propose recovery plans for order shortfalls.
- Engage full buying center; build relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Apply technical knowledge to deliver presentations; identify best technical solution aligned with customer needs.
- Manage pricing, negotiation, contract compliance, and trading conditions; prepare offers with bid/proposal and Marketing resources.
