ABB in Illinois seeks a Regional Sales Manager for North America - West to lead sales of B&R products, systems and services within a defined market. The role is remote but must be based in Illinois, with responsibility for developing and executing plans to grow orders, revenue, profitability and market share.

You will manage the full sales funnel, engage the buying center, and deliver technically tailored solutions while balancing pricing, contracts and trading terms in line with ABB/B&R

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years engineering experience.
• Experience with account management, business development and adoption, contract management, sales enablement, and general sales practices.
• Experience in customer experience success, pricing excellence, and budget & performance targets.
• Experience with Machine and Motion Control products.
• Familiarity with industrial automation market.
• Experience with Programmable Controllers, Industrial PCs, HMI, Servo Drives, or Motion Control solutions.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and passport; travel up to 35% in North America; occasional international travel.

Responsabilités

• Identify and engage new prospects; develop Target Account Business Plans to expand the customer base.
• Qualify and advance sales opportunities throughout the funnel with focus on volume, mix, profitability; conduct pipeline reviews.
• Engage the full buying center across the organization and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Apply technical knowledge to deliver in-depth presentations; identify best technical solution aligned with customer needs and ABB/B&R offerings.
• Manage all commercial elements including pricing, negotiation, contract compliance, and trading conditions; prepare offers with bid, proposal, and Marketing resources.
