Job summary

ABB is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales of products, solutions, and services in the San Antonio, TX trade areas. This remote role requires being located in San Antonio and involves building long-term relationships with contractors, distributors, consultants, and end-users.

You will develop sales plans, collaborate across ABB’s portfolio, and travel as needed within the trade area to achieve volume and profitability targets.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or industrial engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum two years sales experience in electrical industry, preferably commercial/industrial/multi-family.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication for emails and technical documents.
• Ability to travel within the trade area as needed.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Sell products/systems/services to customers with focus on volume, mix and profitability.
• Maintain effective customer relationships and understand needs to offer full solutions.
• Prepare sales plans and review status; propose recovery plans if needed.
• Collaborate across business lines to leverage ABB’s product portfolio.
• Prepare offers per contract documents with pricing and proposal teams.
