Job summary

Toray Advanced Composites is seeking an Account Manager II for the Southern California region. This role is full-time remote in the US, focusing on managing key customers, growing relationships, and identifying new opportunities across the territory.

The ideal candidate will leverage cross-functional teams to support new product design, qualification, and customer objectives while traveling to visit customers and plants as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service, inside sales or account management.
• Knowledge of composite materials, properties, production, and processes is essential.
• Strong presentation, time management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage current sales and develop new sales to balance profitability and market share.
• Create strategic business plans aligning customer objectives with Toray.
• Collaborate with internal teams on product design and qualification for key accounts.
• Develop sales strategies to target existing and potential accounts.
• Meet revenue targets and KPIs set by the department.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to ensure retention.
• Coordinate with compliance on regulations affecting customers.
• Provide forecasts, pricing docs, and analytics for program improvements.
• Support R&D, Technical Service, Production, and Quality Assurance with feedback and issues.
