Job summary

DocuSign is seeking an Account Executive to develop and close new business or expand our footprint in a Public Sector territory. You will drive quotas, manage complex sales cycles, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize adoption and revenue.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Vice President. Remote work is available, with responsibilities including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and accurate forecasting.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of prior software sales experience
• Experience with quota-carrying software sales
• Proven success prospecting, developing leads, managing complex sales-cycles

Responsibilities

• Drive success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas
• Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts into a geographic territory
• Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations
• Develop and negotiate enterprise-level proposals and contracts
• Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately using sales tools
• Collaborate with pre/post sales resources and legal, security, and support teams
