Job summary

Copeland is seeking an experienced Account Executive to expand our installed base of industrial refrigeration and heating solutions across North America. You will manage relationships with end users, contractors, and engineers, driving opportunities from inquiry to closure in a fully remote role.

This position offers competitive base pay plus a bonus target, with travel to the Milwaukee factory and regional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of account management experience in industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to communicate technically and commercially with all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of contract negotiations.
• Experience with sales forecasting and opportunity management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Account Sales Plans to meet sales and gross margin objectives.
• Realize sales and margins targets for Vilter refrigeration and heat pump packages.
• Build relationships with contractors, consultants, and end-users to encourage a preference for Vilter products and services.
• Travel up to 100 nights per year.
• Own sales process from enquiry to PO closure; provide aftersales support as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain forecasts, project details, and competitor notes in Salesforce.
• Present projects and attend weekly Opportunity Review Board meetings.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure strong performance and customer experience.
• Educate customers on new technologies and industry trends.
• Carry out responsibilities ethically per policies and laws.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of organization and customers.
