Job summary

Copeland is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to develop and close opportunities in industrial refrigeration and heating solutions. You will cultivate relationships with end users, engineers, contractors, and key stakeholders across the United States to drive value and win opportunities.

This fully remote role supports the North America Sales Team with travel up to 24 nights per year to the Milwaukee factory, and requires residing in California or nearby West Coast states to effectively

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of account management experience in industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to analyze financials and negotiate to close opportunities.
• Must be a self-starter with strong drive and results.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage with customers at all levels.
• Established relationships in the California market and willingness to reside on the West Coast.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Account Sales Plans to meet or exceed sales and gross margin targets.
• Realize sales and margin targets for Vilter refrigeration and heat pump packages in the territory.
• Build and grow relationships with contractors, consultants, and end-users to drive product preference.
• Lead opportunities from enquiry to purchase, including post-sale support as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date forecasts, project details, and competitor notes in Salesforce.
• Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Lifecycle Services, and Product Management to educate customers on new technologies and trends.
