Job summary

Zscaler is seeking an Account Executive for Higher Education covering the Southeast. You will report to the Regional Director and work with a global team to drive cloud security solutions in higher education institutions.

Remote in Florida or Georgia, with emphasis on building trusted partnerships and strategic account plans. You will lead engagements from discovery to closing, align solutions with client strategy, and partner with internal teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full‑cycle sales experience within software or security.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Progressive selling experience engaging with enterprise accounts and selling at the C‑Level.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI‑driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with important internal and customer stakeholders, including c‑suite decision-makers.
• Create a long-term account strategy aligned with customer goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and contribute to account planning.
• Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client businesses and aligning technical solutions with their goals.
