Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) is seeking a reliable ESL tutor to deliver 1:1 lessons to students in Singapore, Hong Kong, and North America. You’ll schedule consistent weekly sessions, prepare tailored materials, and provide constructive feedback to parents.

This is a contract role with flexible hours and a need for strong communication. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree, have 3+ years in K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching, and offer a fast internet connection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience with K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.
• High-speed internet and a computer (Windows or Mac).

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
