Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) seeks experienced tutors to teach ESL to K-12 students online. You set a flexible, consistent schedule and deliver 50-minute one-on-one lessons using the Cosmo curriculum for learners in Singapore and Hong Kong. This independent contractor role pays $20 USD per class.

A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of teaching K-12 ELA/ESL are required; TEFL preferred. You must be based in the US or Canada, have reliable internet, and commit to at least 6 months with 20+ hours

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
