Job summary

Cosmo 1:1, formerly ClassUp, is an online learning platform connecting K-12 students with tutors from top universities for personalized ESL lessons. You will teach ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

This independent contractor role offers a flexible, set schedule with 50-minute 1-on-1 sessions. A Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years of teaching experience, and reliable internet are required; TEFL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for each student.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare age-appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit feedback after every lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time in a suitable setting.
• Coordinate with Cosmo staff as needed.
