Job summary
A local educational institution in Chantilly, VA, is seeking a math curriculum writer to create lesson plans for grades 6 through 8. The successful candidate will develop 38 lesson plans for a new curriculum level and 7 summer continuation lessons. Experience with VSOL's math content and proficiency in Word and PDF formats are required. Flexible work-from-home options are available. This project is set to commence in March 2026 and conclude by July 2026.

- Collaborate on aligning with existing curricula.
Looking for someone who has experience with VSOL's math content and worked with county's grade 6, grade 7 and grade 8 curriculum and has experience in creating the lesson plans for these grade levels. Require a math curriculum writer to write up lesson plans to build a new level (comprising of LCPS, FCPS Math 6/math 7/math 8 concepts) to go with our own already set curriculum for the level below and above it. It will be 38 lessons plans and 7 lessons plans for the continuing summer The timeline for this project is to get started in March, 2026 and be expected to be done by July, 2026. The applicant should be proficient working with word documents and the pdfs formats.
