Job summary

Cosmo 1:1, formerly ClassUp, is seeking ESL tutors in the United States who can set a flexible weekly schedule for 50-minute one-on-one lessons with students based in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 ELA/ESL, with TEFL preferred. A reliable internet connection and a suitable device are required, and availability should cover 6-9 AM EST on weekdays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
