Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking qualified K-12 ESL tutors to deliver 50‑minute one‑on‑one lessons to international students using the Cosmo curriculum. You will set a consistent weekly schedule and work with ESL students located in Singapore and Hong Kong, delivering individualized instruction and feedback.

The role is an independent contractor position. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of teaching experience are required; TEFL is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• TEFL certificate preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare age- and ability-appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Coordinate with Cosmo staff.
