Job summary

Columbus Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3T Medical Surgical unit on the night shift. The role is full-time, on-site, with 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and includes rotating holidays and weekends. The unit has an 18-bed capacity and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6.

• Care for Medical-Surgical patients on an 18-bed unit with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Perform rounds, assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate with care teams.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety guidelines, and shifting schedules including holidays and weekends.

What you need to know about this position:

• Our Medical Surgical floor is an 18-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6.
• Patients on this unit could include those recovering from surgeries, bariatric procedures, and strokes or being treated for other medical conditions or receiving renal dialysis.
• Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This position is hourly and is eligible for applicable shift differentials and Sunday/holiday premiums.
• In a status of at least 16 hours per week, employees are benefit eligible.

What is required for this position:

Upon hire, you must have:

• Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.

Within 30 days of hire you must have:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.*

*If you do not have it, CRH provides training & time to acquire certification after employment.

This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.
