Job summary

Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, IN seeks a part-time nurse to join the Nursing Resources float pool. The role covers 24 hours per week on-site, with shifts from 7am to 7:30pm and rotating holidays/weekends. ASN required; RN license (IN or NLC) needed; BLS within 30 days.

Lifting >50 lbs and frequent standing are included in duties. Individual compensation is based on experience; includes applicable shift differentials and Sunday/holiday premiums.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Float to inpatient units as part of Nurses Resources float pool to cover staffing needs.
• Provide staffing coverage, ensuring right placement of nurses across units.
• Eligibility for shift differentials and Sunday/holiday premiums; benefit eligibility at 16 hours per week.

What you need to know about this position:

As a member of Nurses Resources (sometimes called the float pool), you are at the core of ensuring we have the nursing staff in the right place at the right to meet the needs of our inpatient units. You have the opportunity to "float" to units giving you the chance to broaden your knowledge and experience.

Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

This position is hourly and is eligible for applicable shift differentials and Sunday/holiday premiums. In a status of at least 16 hours per week, employees are benefit eligible.

What is required for this position:

Upon hire, you must have:

• Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.


• Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.

Within 30 days of hire you must have:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.*

If you do not have it, CRH provides training & time to acquire certification after employment.

This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.
