Columbus Regional Health's Birthing Center is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for day shifts, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, on-site. Associate or Bachelor of Nursing is required with Indiana RN licensure; BLS within 30 days and NRP within 6 months are required.

Two years of Birthing Center experience is preferred. Position offers hourly pay with shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Competenze

• ASN or BSN required; BSN preferred.
• Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State License via the NLC required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.

What you need to know about this position

Having a baby is one of life's most important experiences, and our Birthing Center provides a full range of delivery services to support needs before, during and after giving birth.

Our Birthing Center team of experienced nurses and doctors welcome over 1,200 babies each year.

Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

This position is hourly and is eligible for applicable shift differentials and Sunday/holiday premiums.

In a status of at least 16 hours per week, employees are benefit eligible.

What is required for this position

Upon hire, you must have:

• Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.

Within 30 days of hire you must have:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.*

Within 6 months of hire you must have:

• Certificate in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).*

Experience preferences:

• At least 2 years of Birthing Center

*If you do not have it, CRH provides training & time to acquire certification after employment.

This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.
