Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. seeks a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 (RSM) to oversee occupational safety management across profit centers. You will implement safety policies, conduct audits, and train Safety Coordinators to ensure consistent standards.

Travel to branches will be required to support safety initiatives and compliance. The role emphasizes leading the safety program, tracking regional performance, and collaborating with VP/Regional Managers to develop annual SH&E

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field or equivalent work experience plus a minimum of 5 years in Safety/SH&E management.
• Preferred Safety Certification: OHST, CHST, SMS, GSP.
• Ability to present information in classroom or conference call settings.
• Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan with measurable goals using leading/lagging indicators.
• Willingness to travel and operate in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety policies and programs at assigned profit centers.
• Audit safety compliance and conduct inspections across branches.
• Train Safety Coordinators to ensure consistent policy application.
• Track regional performance and lead the SH&E business planning.
• Lead Safety Coordinator calls and annual Boot Camp in the region.
• Support incident investigations and reporting with PCM/Managers.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings and safety stand-downs.
