Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 (RSM) to oversee occupational safety at assigned profit centers, implement safety policies, and report to the Safety Director.

You will lead inspections, train Safety Coordinators, drive performance tracking, and develop regional SH&E plans with the VP and Regional Managers. Travel is required to support multiple locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years in Safety, Health and Environmental Management Systems.
Proficiency with safety regulations and DOT transportation safety knowledge.
Strong communication, training and presentation abilities.
Willingness to travel domestically on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance.
Oversee safety protocols across branches in the region.
Conduct PC safety compliance inspections and audits.
Provide training and guidance to Safety Coordinators.
Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Support incident investigations and safety stand-downs.
