Job summary
Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 (RSM) to oversee occupational safety across assigned profit centers. You will implement safety policies, train coordinators, and ensure DOT and OSHA regulatory compliance, guiding regional performance through data-driven actions.
The role requires 5+ years in Safety/HEMS, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong communication and Excel skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, or equivalent experience with 5+ years in Safety, Health & Environmental Mgmt.
- OHST/CHST/SMS/GSP certification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, ability to present to groups.
- Proven ability to develop strategic plans with measurable goals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance.
- Oversee safety protocols across branches within the region.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits per program criteria.
- Provide coaching to Safety Coordinators for consistent policy implementation.
- Identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions with branch teams.
- Support incident investigations and safety stand-downs as required.
