Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 (RSM) to oversee occupational safety across assigned profit centers and ensure compliance with safety policies and programs.

You will train Safety Coordinators, conduct audits, and drive regional SH&E initiatives, with travel to branches as needed. A strong background in occupational safety with 5+ years of SH&E management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, or equivalent experience with 5+ years in SH&E programs.
• Preferred certifications: OHST, CHST, SMS, GSP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to present information in classroom or conference settings.
• Proven ability to develop strategic plans with measurable goals and to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety management at multiple profit centers and enforce safety policies.
• Prepare reports and recommend improvements to organizational performance.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits; guide branch staff on corrective actions.
• Train Safety Coordinators; maintain safety training documentation.
• Track region and branch safety metrics and lead regional safety planning.
• Lead Safety Coordinator calls and regional boot camps; develop SH&E plans.
