Job summary
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 (RSM) to lead occupational safety efforts across assigned profit centers. You will implement safety policies, audit compliance, and coordinate staff training with Safety Coordinators to ensure consistent safety practices regionally.
The role requires travel up to 75%, strong communication, and a track record in SH&E program implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor19s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred Safety Certification - OHST, CHST, SMS, GSP.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present information in classroom or conference call settings.
- Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan with measurable goals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance.
- Oversee safety protocols across multiple branches within the region.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits per program criteria.
- Train and guide Safety Coordinators for consistent policy execution.
- Identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions with responsible managers.
- Support investigations of incidents and near-misses with PCM.
