Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. seeks a Regional Safety, Health and Environmental Manager 2 (RSM) to oversee safety across assigned profit centers and implement safety policies with the Safety Director.

You will lead inspections and audits, train Safety Coordinators, track regional performance, and help develop the annual SH&E plan with leadership. Travel up to 75% is required during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent with 5+ years of safety program experience.
• Preferred OHST, CHST, SMS or GSP certifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and execute a strategic SH&E plan with measurable goals.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports and recommend procedures to improve performance.
• Oversee safety protocols and branch compliance across regions.
• Lead safety audits and provide corrective action guidance.
• Train Safety Coordinators and maintain safety documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop annual SH&E plan.
