The North Carolina Department of Correction is seeking a Regional Recruiter to build a strong pool of candidates for correctional officer roles. You will drive outreach, engage colleges and community partners, and manage candidate movement from inquiry to hire across Pasquotank, Currituck, Camden, Perquimans and Gate counties.

The role involves in-person recruitment, collaboration with Central HR, and travel with some overnight stays. A state vehicle and recruitment tools are provided.

Formación

• Experience planning and implementing strategic recruitment initiatives.
• Experience using social media tools and electronic platforms in recruitment.
• Experience sourcing candidates through web-based HR platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Develop regional recruitment plans for Pasquotank, Currituck, Camden, Perquimans and Gate counties.
• Engage colleges, universities and professional boards to support hiring events.
• Attend NC DAC career and hiring events and community job fairs.
• Communicate with applicants and stakeholders to move candidates toward hire.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

GED + 3 years of HR-related experience
