Job summary

North Carolina Department of Adult Correction seeks a Central Regional Recruiter to build a pool of candidates for corrections and related roles. The role partners with agencies, facility leadership, and hiring teams to plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment events and candidate sourcing.

Full-time regional field position with travel; state vehicle provided, comprehensive benefits included. Minimum education: HR-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years progressive experience in Human Resources or related field.
• Valid driver's license to operate a state vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional recruitment initiatives and partner with leadership to plan hiring.
• Develop college/university relationships and plan recruitment events.
• Sourcing candidates via web-based HR platforms and social media.
• Prepare presentations and maintain applicant and position tracking spreadsheets.
• Travel locally for in-person recruitment and events.
