Job summary

State of North Carolina is seeking an Regional Recruiter to generate and convert high-quality leads into applications and hires for Adult Correction facilities. You’ll engage with colleges, attend career events, and use digital channels to move applicants toward hire.

Travel and field-based work across multiple counties is required. The role focuses on building recruitment pipelines, evaluating effectiveness, and adapting sourcing strategies to labor markets and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and implementing strategic field recruitment initiatives.
• Experience using social media tools and electronic platforms in recruitment.
• Experience sourcing candidates through web-based HR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with colleges, universities, boards and associations to plan recruitment initiatives.
• Gathering information for recruitment and retention to feedback to Central HR.
• Attending NC DAC career events, job fairs and community networking events.
• Speaking with students about career opportunities within NC DAC.
• Preparing presentations and maintaining spreadsheets for applicant tracking.
• Using advertising and social media to promote positions.
